Dil's Daily was born from Delilah's love for crafting delicious food and as a tribute to her mother's legacy. Named after her childhood nickname, Dil, the drive behind Dil’s Daily is to offer mouthwatering eats that satisfy daily cravings, all while aiming to excite customers' palates with daily specials.
Though Dil's history is just beginning, Delilah's love and experience for food is well-seasoned. It stems from over 15 years of her parents running the original café in the same space. After her mother, Yvonne, passed unexpectedly, her father, Joe, continued operating the café for a while until its closure in 2013. Delilah and her two sisters grew up working with her parents, relishing the tasty treats from the kitchen. Enhancing Delilah's passion for food even more that the café are the cherished memories of friends and family gathering around the dinner table at home, where Yvonne created fresh meals every night, even with a fridge packed with leftovers.
When the opportunity arose to continue her mother's legacy, Delilah felt it was fate. Leaving behind a 20-year fashion career, she took a step back to enjoy life's little moments and pursue her true passion—food. Creating kitchen delights brings her immense joy, especially when shared with friends and family.
